Role & responsibilities

- Own test planning, test case design, and execution for RFgen product

features and releases, through regression and release certification.
- Determine how a feature should be tested from specifications and product

behavior, including edge cases, negative paths, and failure modes.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, compatibility, upgrade, and

system-level testing on the RFgen product.
- Test the RFgen VBA language library the scripting functions and event

handlers used to build RFgen applications including backward compatibility across releases.
- Review issues raised by Professional Services and determine whether they

can be handled through the existing RFgen library or need a fix in the product.
- Build and maintain your own test environments: Windows servers, virtual

machines, databases, and device setups.
- Troubleshoot failures end to end reproduce, isolate the layer at fault, read

logs and raise defect reports Engineering can act on.
- Adopt AI-driven QA practices and tools, and identify new opportunities where

AI can improve testing.
- Track defects through resolution, and report coverage, progress, risks, and

release readiness to stakeholders.
- Work with Engineering, Product, and Support on requirements, customer-

reported issues, and root cause analysis; support ERP implementation project testing as needed.
- Maintain QA documentation, test artifacts, and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Product testing background — testing a commercial software product across releases, not only implementation projects.




- Hands-on manual testing using black-box, functional, and exploratory techniques.
- Test planning and structured test case design, including building coverage for an unfamiliar feature from first principles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across logs, configuration files, and environment settings to isolate root cause.
- IT and infrastructure fundamentals: Windows Server, virtual machines, installs and upgrades, and networking basics.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) in the QA context.
- Ability to assess risk, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments in parallel.
- Clear written and verbal communication — this role works directly with our

US-based Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of testing, and bring recent ideas rather than only executing given test cases.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and the SDLC.

Added Advantage

- Test automation experience (UI or API) — Playwright, Selenium, Appium,

Cypress, or equivalent.
- Exposure to ERP, Warehouse, or Inventory Management systems — SAP,

Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards, or Deltek Costpoint.
- Experience testing desktop applications and enterprise products that integrate with backend systems such as ERP and databases.
- Mobile or handheld device testing (Android, barcode scanners, terminal emulation).
- API testing (REST, Postman or similar) and basic SQL for backend validation.
- Experience with Jira and test management tools such as Zephyr.
- Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools, automation frameworks, or data analysis techniques.
- Interest in finding new ways to apply AI in daily QA work.
