Owns the test strategy for the migration: functional parity between legacy and migrated components, regression coverage across web, mobile and APIs, and automation wired into the delivery pipelines

Key Responsibilities

‒ Define and execute parity and regression test strategy for each migrated module.

‒ Test web, mobile, APIs and Azure Functions, both manually and through automation.

‒ Write and execute test cases, test plans and test scripts; track defects in Azure DevOps Boards or Jira.

‒ Validate data transformations, stored procedure outputs and data integrity during database migration.

‒ Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps pipelines as release gates.

Required Skills And Experience ‒ Solid experience in manual and automated testing of backend services and APIs.





‒ API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured; validation of payloads, status codes, headers and error handling, including JSON schema validation.

‒ Experience testing API integrations between internal systems and external vendors.

‒ SQL skills for test data setup and validation; experience testing Azure SQL Database or SQL Server.

‒ Test automation frameworks such as NUnit , xUnit , Playwright.

‒ CI/CD understanding integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines.

‒ Azure Functions testing, including the local emulator and integration testing.
