- Build the front end. React with a clear component architecture, state management, responsive layout and accessibility built in from the start.

- Develop the API layer. FastAPI services with REST contracts, async I/O, streaming where the experience needs it, and sensible error semantics.

- Model the data. Relational schema design in Azure SQL, migrations, an audit trail where the domain requires it, and a cache layer for hot paths.

- Wire the integrations. SSO through Entra ID or OAuth, enterprise and third-party APIs, webhooks, and media delivery through storage and CDN.

- Build the admin surfaces. Configuration, content and user management screens, exception handling and reporting views for the operating team.

- Deploy and keep quality high. Containerised services in the CI/CD pipeline, unit and component tests, code review, and performance budgets.

- Git-based workflow with code review, automated tests, Docker and CI-driven builds

- Kubernetes — containerising a service and running it on AKS

- Integrating a Gen AI backend into a product UI — streaming, citations, feedback capture
