Role & responsibilities

- Data Science & Automation: Develop and implement advanced data science models, machine learning algorithms, and automation scripts to optimize business processes.

- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior Python developers in best practices, coding standards, and project development to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Innovation: Continuously explore and adopt new technologies, particularly in web apps, APIs, and other ancillary tech, to enhance the team's capabilities and project outcomes.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders, to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills:

- Core Python Expertise: Proficient in Python with a strong understanding of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and others relevant to data science and automation.

- Automation: Hands-on experience with scripting and automation in Python to streamline tasks and processes.

- Willingness to Upskill: Willingness and ability to learn and work on web applications, APIs, and related technologies such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

- Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitHub, GitLab).
