Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and creative Public Speaking, English & IDP Teacher for Classes 1 and 2. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English, developing students' public speaking and communication skills, and facilitating Interdisciplinary Projects (IDP) with an emphasis on EVS-related themes and experiential learning.

The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills and the ability to make learning interactive, meaningful and engaging for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging Public Speaking sessions to develop students' confidence, fluency and presentation skills.
- Teach English, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and basic language skills.
- Plan and facilitate Interdisciplinary Projects (IDP) based on EVS-related themes, integrating concepts from different subjects.
- Use project-based, activity-based and experiential learning methods to encourage curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.
- Organize storytelling, role plays, show-and-tell, recitation, speeches and age-appropriate speaking activities.
- Introduce students to environmental awareness, nature, community, health and other relevant EVS concepts through projects and activities.
- Encourage students to express their ideas clearly and confidently in English.
- Prepare lesson plans, project guidelines, worksheets and teaching-learning resources.
- Monitor and assess students' progress in English, public speaking and interdisciplinary project work.
- Provide constructive feedback and individual support to students.




- Maintain academic records and communicate students' progress to parents and coordinators.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the academic team to plan projects, presentations and learning activities.

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university – Mandatory.
- B.Ed. or a relevant teaching qualification – Preferred, subject to applicable recruitment requirements.
- Additional training or certification in English language teaching, public speaking or communication skills will be an advantage.

Experience

- Experience in teaching English, Public Speaking or Primary-level subjects will be preferred.
- Experience working with students of Classes 1 and 2 will be an advantage.
- Experience in project-based or interdisciplinary learning will be preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE or reputed school environment will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience as a Public Speaking Teacher, English Teacher, Primary Teacher or Communication Skills Trainer are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
