Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified Primary Kannada Teacher to teach Kannada to students at the primary level. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ language skills through engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based teaching methods aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Kannada lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach Kannada reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and basic literature.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and teaching-learning materials.
- Use creative and interactive methods such as storytelling, role play, poems, songs, and educational activities.
- Assess students through classwork, homework, tests, projects, and other learning activities.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide additional support and remedial teaching to students who require it.
- Encourage students to participate in Kannada literary and cultural activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.




- Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, teacher-training programmes, and other school activities.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Kannada or a relevant subject from a recognised university.
- B.Ed., D.El.Ed., or equivalent teacher-training qualification.
- CTET/TET qualification may be preferred, depending on the school’s requirements.
- Good communication skills in Kannada and English.
- Previous experience teaching Kannada in a CBSE/English-medium school will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹42,593.75 per month
