Job Summary The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the complete production cycle at HomeOne, ensuring that products are assembled, tested, packed, and dispatched within committed timelines and according to defined quality standards.

The role requires strong coordination across Assembly, Testing, Packing, Dispatch, and Purchase, along with effective team management, production planning, inventory coordination, and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on operations skilled who can take ownership of daily production targets, identify bottlenecks, maintain quality, and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

Role & responsibilities

A. Assembly & Production Management

- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities based on customer orders and business requirements.
- Supervise the Assembly team and ensure products are manufactured according to defined work instructions and quality standards.
- Allocate manpower and resources to meet production targets.
- Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks, delays, and operational issues.
- Ensure proper handling of components, tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Improve assembly efficiency, productivity, and production processes.

B. Testing Team Management

- Manage and coordinate the Testing team to ensure all products undergo the required testing procedures before dispatch.
- Ensure testing is completed according to approved test processes and product specifications.
- Monitor product failures, rejections, and rework requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering / R&D; for recurring product defects and technical issues.
- Maintain testing records and ensure that only approved products proceed to packing.
- Drive improvements in first-pass yield and reduction of testing-related rejections.

C. Packing & Finished Goods Management

- Supervise the Packing team and ensure finished products are packed safely and correctly.
- Ensure appropriate packaging materials, product accessories, labels, manuals,



and other required components are available.
- Maintain packing standards to prevent product damage during transportation.
- Ensure product identification, quantity verification, and order-wise packing accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Testing and Dispatch teams for smooth movement of finished goods.
- Maintain proper records of packed and ready-to-dispatch products.

D. Dispatch & Timely Delivery

- Manage the Dispatch team and ensure products are dispatched according to committed delivery schedules.
- Prepare and monitor dispatch plans based on customer orders and delivery priorities.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support, and relevant internal teams for dispatch requirements.
- Ensure the correct product, quantity, destination, and documentation are verified before dispatch.
- Track pending dispatches and proactively escalate potential delivery delays.
- Ensure proper handover of finished goods to logistics and transportation partners.

E. Purchase Coordination & Material Availability

- Coordinate closely with the Purchase team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and production consumables.
- Prepare and communicate material requirements based on production plans and pending orders.
- Identify material shortages and communicate requirements well in advance to avoid production stoppages.
- Track purchase orders, expected delivery dates, and pending materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams to ensure materials are received and made available for production.
- Escalate critical material shortages and supplier-related delays to management.




- Support inventory planning and ensure production continuity without unnecessary excess stock.

F. Team Management & Daily Operations

- Manage and coordinate Assembly, Testing, Packing, and Dispatch teams.
- Conduct daily production review meetings and track progress against targets.
- Allocate responsibilities, manage attendance, and ensure effective utilization of manpower.
- Train team members on standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and workplace discipline.
- Resolve interdepartmental operational issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain production discipline, housekeeping, and adherence to safety practices.
- Report operational challenges and improvement opportunities to management.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant practical experience in electronics manufacturing may be considered.

Required Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations management.
- Experience in electronics, electrical products, IoT devices, consumer electronics, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing multiple operational teams, preferably Assembly, Testing, Packing, and Dispatch.

Technical & Operational Skills
- Production planning and scheduling.
- Electronics assembly process understanding.
- Quality control and testing coordination.
- Inventory and material requirement coordination.
- Basic understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), WIP, and finished goods.
- MS Excel or production management software.
- Daily production reporting and operational data tracking.
