1. Job Purpose

Operate and monitor the twin-screw extrusion and associated production equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent production output, product quality, and compliance with process parameters and safety standards.
1. Key Responsibilities

 Operate and monitor twin-screw extruder, feeding system, heating/cooling systems, strainer and associated equipment.  Start up, operate and shut down the extrusion line as per approved SOPs.

 Monitor temperature, pressure, screw speed, feed rate, torque and throughput.

 Ensure continuous and stable production as per the daily production plan.

 Check raw-material feeding and ensure proper material flow into the extruder.

 Identify pressure/temperature fluctuations, blockage, vibration or abnormal equipment noise and take corrective action.

 Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and R&D; teams for troubleshooting and process improvement.

 Maintain production records, shift reports, parameter logs and equipment checklists.

 Monitor product quality and immediately report process deviations.

 Ensure housekeeping, 5S, PPE and plant safety compliance.

 Support preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning and changeover operations.





 Minimize material wastage, downtime and process losses; guide operators/helpers when required.

1. Qualification & Experience

 Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, Production or related engineering discipline.  2–5 years preferred in extrusion, polymer/rubber processing, plastics, compounding or similar continuous-process manufacturing.

 Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

1. Desired Skills

 Understanding of industrial machinery and process parameters; basic PLC/HMI knowledge.  Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work in a 24×7 rotational shift workplace.

 Strong focus on safety, quality, productivity and teamwork.

1. Key Performance Areas (KPIs)

 Production output and line efficiency; product quality and process consistency.  Machine uptime, reduced downtime, material yield and reduced wastage.

 Compliance with SOPs, safety and housekeeping standards; accurate shift documentation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
