JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Process and Quality Supervisor with practical experience in plastics, polymers, recycling, raw-material quality or process operations.

The candidate will be responsible for incoming plastic inspection, feed approval, batch composition, process monitoring, product sampling/testing, batch traceability, inventory verification, dispatch quality control and shift supervision.

This is a plant-floor role and not a purely laboratory or documentation-based position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Incoming Plastic Quality
- Inspect incoming plastic lots and classify them as Approved, Hold or Rejected.
- Practically identify LDPE, HDPE, PP and other permitted feed materials.
- Identify contamination such as PVC, PET, moisture, dirt, mud, metal, glass, stones and foreign material.
- Prevent doubtful or non-approved plastic from entering production without authorisation.
- Batch Loading and Traceability
- Verify polymer-wise batch composition, supplier lot and actual loading quantity.
- Record feed weight, moisture, contamination condition and loading time.
- Maintain complete traceability from supplier lot to batch, sample, tank and dispatch.
- Supervise loading and report any quantity or quality discrepancy.
- Process and Shift Monitoring
- Monitor and record key temperature, pressure, vapour and oil-behaviour parameters.
- Identify abnormal process or quality conditions and immediately inform the concerned department.
- Report mechanical, electrical or instrumentation abnormalities to the relevant team.
- Maintain shift checklists, deviation records, quality observations and proper handover notes.




- Sampling and Product Quality
- Take representative samples of oil, carbon and other products.
- Ensure correct sample ID, labelling, sealing, retention and chain of custody.
- Conduct or coordinate basic checks such as density, appearance, free water, sediment and phase separation.
- Coordinate moisture, viscosity, flash point and other testing wherever required.
- Place doubtful or off-specification material on hold and prevent its dispatch without approval.
- External Laboratory Coordination
- Prepare and dispatch samples to external laboratories.
- Coordinate tests such as GC/GC-MS, distillation, sulfur, chlorine, water, flash point, viscosity, calorific value, carbon residue and ash.
- Follow up on pending tests and ensure every report is mapped to the correct batch and tank.
- Inventory and Dispatch Control
- Monitor raw material, product, fuel and consumable movements during the shift.
- Verify tank/product identity, dispatch quantity, quality clearance and retention sample.
- Ensure dispatch is made only from the correct approved tank or batch.
- Escalate any stock, quality, quantity or dispatch discrepancy before material leaves the plant.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain quality records, batch records, sample registers, hold/rejection records and shift reports.
- Prepare basic Excel and MIS reports for batch quality, supplier quality and product trends.
- Communicate process and quality deviations clearly to management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- Diploma, B.Tech, B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in CPAT, Plastics Technology, Polymer Technology, Polymer Science, Plastic Processing, Chemical Engineering, Quality or a related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS




- 2-7 years of experience in plastic processing, polymer, recycling, production, quality control, laboratory testing or process-plant operations.
- Practical ability to differentiate LDPE, HDPE and PP.
- Knowledge of plastic contamination and rejection criteria.
- Experience in incoming inspection, production sampling, batch records or quality control.
- Knowledge of sample labelling, retention and traceability.
- Basic computer, Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Willingness to work on the plant floor and in shifts.
- Ability to supervise loading, process monitoring, inventory and dispatch.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Plastic recycling, polymer compounding or supplier-quality experience.
- Exposure to laboratory instruments or petroleum-product testing.
- Understanding of pyrolysis or thermal-conversion processes.
- Knowledge of NCR, CAPA and supplier-quality management.
- Experience supervising plant operators, helpers or workers.

KEY PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- All inward plastic lots inspected and recorded.
- Correct batch weight, composition and traceability.
- Complete process and shift records.
- Timely identification of process or quality deviations.
- Accurate sampling, labelling and laboratory-report mapping.
- Off-specification material held before dispatch.
- Correct inventory and dispatch documentation.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
