Key Responsibilities:-

1. End-to-End Plant Operations

- Own overall plant performance and operational KPIs.
- Drive production planning and execution in line with customer demand.
- Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity, manpower and equipment.
- Improve throughput, productivity and operational efficiency.

2. Production & Process Excellence

- Establish solid production discipline and adherence to SOPs.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve yield and reduce material losses, wastage and rework.
- Standardize processes and improve manufacturing consistency.

3. Quality

- Partner closely with Quality to maintain stringent product standards.
- Reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.
- Ensure products meet applicable specifications, standards and customer requirements.
- Drive root-cause analysis and permanent corrective action.

4. Cost & Productivity

- Own manufacturing cost and productivity improvement.
- Identify opportunities for material, energy, manpower and process optimization.
- Establish meaningful plant-level productivity metrics.
- Drive lean/continuous improvement initiatives wherever relevant.

5. Maintenance & Reliability

- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance practices are followed.
- Improve equipment up-time and reliability.
- Reduce breakdowns and unplanned downtime.




- Work with Engineering/Maintenance teams on automation and technology upgrades.

6. People & Culture

- Lead and develop production, maintenance, quality and other plant teams.
- Build a strong second line of leadership.
- Improve manpower productivity and accountability.
- Establish a culture where problems are surfaced early and solved permanently.

7. Safety & Compliance

- Maintain high standards of workplace safety and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to plant processes, SOPs and safety systems.
- Drive a zero-compromise approach to critical safety requirements.

What We Are Looking For:-

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 15+ years of manufacturing experience, with meaningful experience leading a plant or large manufacturing function.
- Experience in stainless steel, pipes & tubes, metal processing, engineering, auto components or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of production planning, process improvement, quality, maintenance and manufacturing costs.
- Experience in managing large blue-collar and technical teams.
- Strong exposure to productivity improvement, lean manufacturing/TPM/continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial manufacturing organisation.
