Role & responsibilities
1. P&L; and Financial Management
- Own the complete Plant P&L;, including revenue, gross margin, operating
costs, conversion costs, and profitability.
- Drive plant revenue, contribution margin, and EBITDA improvement.
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs, manpower costs, material losses,
overheads, and inventory carrying costs.
- Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity, manpower, machines, and other
resources.
- Review financial performance against budget and take corrective actions.
1. Production & Operations
- Provide overall leadership to production operations across SMT,
THT/Through-Hole, Assembly, Testing, Box Build, and other relevant EMS processes.
- Ensure achievement of production targets, OEE, productivity, capacity
utilization, and on-time delivery.
- Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

1. Quality Management
- Own overall plant quality performance and customer quality satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, customer-
specific requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Drive improvement in FPY, PPM, rejection, rework, customer complaints, and
COPQ.
- Work closely with customers on quality improvement and escalation
management.
- Promote a strong "Quality at Source" culture throughout the plant.
1. Engineering & NPI
- Ensure effective NPI, product industrialization, process validation, and
production readiness.
- Drive DFM/DFA, process optimization, automation, fixtures, tooling, and test
solutions.
- Ensure smooth transition of recent products from development to mass
production.
- Improve equipment uptime, reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and OEE..
1. Stores & Inventory Management
- Ensure efficient management of raw materials, WIP, finished goods,
consumables, and engineering spares.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels while ensuring uninterrupted production.
- Monitor inventory turns and working capital.
1. Purchase & Supplier Management
- Lead the procurement function for plant requirements in coordination with
corporate/business procurement.
- Ensure timely availability of materials at optimum cost and quality.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Drive supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness
(QCDR).
- Support supplier development, alternate sourcing, localization, and cost-
reduction initiatives.
1. Program Management & Customer Management
- Provide leadership to the Program Management function and ensure
successful execution of customer programs.
- Act as the senior plant-level interface for key customers on operational
matters.
- Ensure customer commitments related to quality, cost, delivery, NPI,
capacity, and responsiveness are achieved.
- Review program status, risks, escalations, capacity requirements, and action
plans.
1. Planning & Delivery
- Ensure robust production and material planning aligned with customer
demand.
- Achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD/OTIF) targets.
Preferred candidate profile 1520+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing / EMS / contract manufacturing.
- Significant experience in managing a large-scale manufacturing plant with
P&L; ownership.
- Strong experience across Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain,
Procurement, and Program Management.
- Experience in SMT, PCB assembly, box build, testing, NPI, and related EMS
processes preferred
