Role & responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, industry professionals, and recruiters.

Organize on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives, internships, and job fairs.

Collaborate with faculty and department heads to identify student placement needs and skills gaps.

Provide career counselling and employability skill training to students.

Prepare students for interviews through resume reviews, mock interviews, and group discussions.

Monitor placement statistics and generate placement reports for management and accreditation.

Coordinate with alumni to explore current placement opportunities and mentorship.

Stay updated with industry trends and job market demands.

Support the Placement Officer in scheduling and coordinating campus recruitment drives.

Maintain databases of students, recruiters, and placement activities.

Communicate placement-related information to students and staff.

Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Help in the documentation and reporting of placement data.

Act as a liaison between students and the Placement Officer for feedback and guidance.
