? Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with solid expertise in Oracle Retail POS, Core Java, system integration, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.

The architect will work closely with business and engineering stakeholders to define scalable, reliable, and resilient solutions for global commerce platforms. The role involves end-to-end architecture, technical design, integration, mentoring, and supporting engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

? Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical design aligned with enterprise standards.
- Design scalable, reliable, and resilient applications and backend integrations.
- Translate business and conceptual requirements into detailed technical designs.
- Provide architectural guidance across multiple engineering and delivery teams.
- Design microservices and event/message-driven distributed systems.
- Support system implementation, development, configuration, and integration activities.
- Maintain current-state and future-state architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to define and refine technical requirements.
- Participate in technology reviews, audits, effort estimation, and operational support planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) where required.




- Mentor and guide both junior and senior engineering teams.
- Promote reusable frameworks, components, and consistent engineering practices.
- Support technology and tool selection through technical research and analysis.

? Must-Have Skills
- 13–15+ years of relevant IT / POS experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Solution / System Architecture.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail POS Suite, including:
- Xstore
- Xenvironment
- Xadmin
- Xcenter
- XServices
- OpChain Framework
- Oracle Database
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (J2SE) and Advanced Java (J2EE).
- 4+ years of front-end development experience with Node.js, React.js, Angular, or similar technologies.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- 3+ years of experience designing/managing cloud solutions.
- Strong experience with AWS / cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with microservices and event/message-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of system integration, scalability, reliability, and high availability.

- Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar monitoring/APM tools
- Retail domain and Retail Systems Architecture
