We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Architect – Narrative Reporting (NR) to lead the design, development, configuration, and implementation of Narrative Reporting solutions. The role requires deep expertise in the Oracle EPM suite, strong architectural skills, and hands-on experience in building high-quality NR report packages. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, define solution roadmaps, and provide best-fit architectural recommendations for enterprise-level EPM initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Narrative Reporting including design, configuration, report package development, and testing.
- Develop and optimize NR solutions aligned with business needs and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong understanding of NR product capabilities, features, security, and best practices.
EPM Suite Integration & Architecture
- Provide architectural solutions for EPM implementations and enhancements.
- Collaborate with EPBCS, FCCS, PCMCS, TRCS, and Fusion GL teams to design data flows and integrations.
- Evaluate and propose enhancements to existing EPM architecture and reporting processes.
- Anchor Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives for new features or integrations.
Financial Reporting Knowledge
- Sound understanding of financial statements such as:
- Income Statement
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow
- Ability to translate financial reporting requirements into scalable NR solutions.
Technical & Functional Responsibilities
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and convert business needs into solution designs.
- Design and develop both standard and custom reports across the EPM suite.
- Utilize Gen AI-based capabilities within the Oracle EPM ecosystem for improved reporting and automation.
- Work closely with functional, technical, and business stakeholders for solution delivery.
Additional Requirements
- 7+ years of overall EPM experience with solid expertise in Hyperion/EPM Cloud product suite.
- Hands-on experience in Hyperion/EPM application development and implementation lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word functionalities including page layouts and advanced formatting.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel – advanced formulas, macros, pivoting, and conditional formatting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel when required.
