1. Job Purpose

The Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and controlling the company's day-to-day operational activities, including fire-fighting projects, AMC services, site execution, manpower deployment, material coordination, client communication, and service quality. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills to ensure that all projects and service activities are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and as per client requirements.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Project Operations

- Plan and monitor day-to-day operations of fire-fighting and fire-safety projects.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, technicians, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure projects are executed according to approved BOQ, drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and identify delays or operational issues.
- Ensure proper manpower and resources are available at each project site.
- Coordinate with the estimation and sales teams for smooth project handover and execution.
- Review site requirements and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and quality.

B. AMC & Service Operations
- Manage all AMC and service-related activities.
- Prepare and monitor AMC schedules and preventive maintenance plans.
- Ensure timely deployment of technicians/service teams.
- Track pending complaints, breakdowns, service calls, and client requirements.
- Ensure AMC visits are completed within agreed timelines.
- Monitor service reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with clients regarding service schedules, pending issues, and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for AMC renewal and additional service requirements.

C. Team & Manpower Management
- Manage engineers, supervisors, technicians, helpers, and site manpower.
- Allocate manpower according to project priorities and requirements.
- Monitor employee attendance, productivity, discipline, and performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide operational instructions.
- Identify manpower shortages and coordinate with HR/management for recruitment or replacement.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, safety procedures,



and qualified standards.

D. Client Coordination
- Maintain professional relationships with existing clients.
- Attend client meetings related to project execution, AMC, service, and operational issues.
- Handle client complaints and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Provide regular project/service updates to clients wherever required.
- Escalate major operational or commercial issues to management.
- Support the sales team in identifying additional project, AMC, service, and equipment opportunities.

E. Material & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with purchase/stores teams for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Monitor material requirements at project sites.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
- Track material shortages, damaged materials, and site requirements.
- Coordinate material movement between office, warehouse, and project sites.
- Ensure proper documentation for material dispatch and receipt.

F. Quality & Safety
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved specifications and applicable safety requirements.
- Monitor quality of installation, testing, servicing, and maintenance work.
- Ensure technicians and site teams follow required safety practices.
- Identify operational risks and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with the safety team/client representatives for site safety compliance.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and safe working practices at project locations.

G. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
- Track project progress, manpower, material requirements, service activities, and pending issues.
- Maintain records of AMC visits, service reports, site reports, and project documentation.
- Monitor pending BOQs, work orders, purchase requirements, and client approvals.
- Submit regular MIS reports to management.
- Maintain an updated tracker for all ongoing projects and AMC activities.

H. Coordination With Internal Departments

- Service & AMC Team





Ensure smooth communication and timely completion of tasks between departments.
1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Operations Manager will be responsible for monitoring:
- Project completion within agreed timelines
- AMC service completion and renewal rate
- Client satisfaction and complaint resolution
- Site productivity and manpower utilization
- Material availability and wastage control
- Quality of project execution
- Reduction in operational delays
- Timely submission of reports and documentation
- Team productivity and discipline
- Operational cost control

- Strong leadership and team-management skills

- Good knowledge of fire-fighting and fire-safety systems
- Project planning and execution skills

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Ability to prepare MIS and operational reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

1. Qualification

Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Fire & Safety, MEP, Operations, or a related field.

Experience:

5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Fire Fighting, Fire Safety, MEP, Facility Management, Construction, or Engineering Services.

1. Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:
- Have hands-on experience managing site operations.
- Have experience handling project and AMC teams.
- Be comfortable visiting multiple project sites.
- Have strong client-handling skills.
- Be capable of managing technicians, supervisors, and engineers.
- Have good knowledge of fire-fighting systems, equipment, testing, maintenance, and installation.
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues.
- Be willing to take ownership of project and service deliverables.

1. Job Location

Navi Mumbai / Mumbai / Thane / Project Sites as required Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: As per experience and industry standards.

1. Authority & Responsibility

The Operations Manager will have responsibility for the effective functioning of operational activities assigned by management and will be accountable for project execution, service delivery, manpower coordination, client satisfaction, and timely resolution of operational issues. Pay: ₹15,402.89 - ₹58,607.95 per month
