ABOUT MS SOCIAL
MS Social is a Mumbai-based marketing agency working across movies, brands, public relations, and creative innovation.
The Game Concept Creator role focuses on developing original card, board, party, social, strategy, and conversation games that are fun, replayable, visually distinctive, and culturally relevant.
You will turn observations, cultural references, emerging trends, and unconventional ideas into game concepts that can be clearly communicated, presented, prototyped, and developed further.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for imaginative people who enjoy asking:
“What if this became a game?”
You will research games and culture, generate a large number of ideas, experiment with AI tools, develop the strongest concepts, and turn them into clear creative pitches.
Professional game-design experience is not required.
What matters more is
- Imagination
- Curiosity
- Genuine interest in games
- Strong visual taste
- Ability to generate and develop ideas
- Comfort experimenting with AI
- Ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly
WHAT YOU WILL DO 01 — BUILD AN IDEA PIPELINE
Research games, internet culture, entertainment, brands, social behaviour, trends, and everyday experiences.
Generate original concepts across
- Card games
- Board games
- Party games
- Social games
- Strategy games
- Conversation games
- Hybrid and experimental formats
The goal is to explore widely before deciding which ideas deserve development. 02 — USE AI CREATIVELY
Experiment with tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and image-generation platforms.
Use AI to explore
- Themes
- Game mechanics
- Characters
- Names
- Constraints
- Scenarios
- Visual worlds
- Packaging
- Typography
- Colour palettes
- Moodboards
- Concept variations
AI should be used as a creative thinking partner, not simply as a way to generate finished output. 03 — DEVELOP THE STRONGEST IDEAS
Take raw ideas and turn them into clear concepts.
Each strong idea should have:
- A compelling hook
- A memorable name
- A defined target player
- A clear gameplay experience
- A reason to replay
- A distinctive visual identity
- A simple explanation of why people would want to play it
You should be comfortable killing weak ideas, combining promising ones, and developing the concepts with the most potential. 04 — CREATE VISUAL DIRECTION
Use references, moodboards, sketches, and AI-generated visuals to communicate the personality of the game.
Explore
- Box and packaging design
- Typography
- Colour systems
- Illustration style
- Character direction
- Card design
- Visual language
- Brand personality
The objective is not necessarily to create production-ready artwork, but to make the idea easy to see and understand. 05 — PITCH & ITERATE
Present your strongest concepts to the team every week.
You will be expected to:
- Explain the idea simply
- Demonstrate how the game works
- Answer questions
- Defend creative choices
- Listen to feedback
- Improve promising concepts
- Quickly discard ideas that do not work
Ideas will be rejected, revised, combined, or advanced toward prototyping.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
CURIOSITY
You notice unusual details, ask useful questions, and genuinely enjoy discovering how ideas, games, people, and experiences work.
GENUINE INTEREST IN GAMES
You actively explore board games, card games, party games, indie games, niche games, and emerging formats—and can explain why some games are more enjoyable than others.
CREATIVE RANGE
You can move beyond your first idea, generate multiple directions, and recognise which concepts are worth developing.
AI FLUENCY
You are comfortable experimenting with prompts, references, constraints, iterations, and different AI tools rather than simply accepting generic AI output.
VISUAL TASTE
You have opinions about packaging, branding, names, design, internet culture, visual trends, and what people would want to share, play, or display.
FEEDBACK & PRESENTATION
You can communicate an idea clearly, share unfinished work, respond to questions, and improve your thinking without becoming defensive.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
ORIGINAL CONCEPTS
Your ideas have a distinctive hook, visual world, and player experience.
STRONG CURATION
You explore widely but know which ideas to stop, combine, or advance.
FAST IMPROVEMENT
Feedback results in sharper concepts, stronger mechanics, and clearer pitches.
IDEAS MOVE FORWARD
Your strongest concepts progress from idea pitch prototype testing.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us
1. Your Resume
2. One Original Game Concept
Your game concept should include:
- Name

We care more about the quality of your thinking than a traditional gaming-industry background. If you have a strange idea, a strong observation, an unusual game mechanic, or a completely different way of making people interact—
we want to see it.
