About the Role

We are looking for a Mobile App Testing Intern to join the Relyy project and assist our development team in testing Android and iOS mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing, mobile application testing, and automation testing using Appium. You will work closely with developers to identify bugs, validate features, execute test cases, and improve the overall quality and stability of the application.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, UI, usability, regression, compatibility, and performance testing of mobile applications.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Develop and execute mobile automation scripts using Appium.
- Test applications across different Android/iOS devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track application bugs.
- Perform API testing and validate backend responses.
- Conduct smoke, sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing before application releases.
- Verify new features and bug fixes provided by the development team.
- Maintain explicit testing documentation, bug reports, and test results.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues.
- Participate in release testing and application quality checks.

- Jira or similar bug-tracking tools
- Git & GitHub
- VS Code / IntelliJ IDEA

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Understanding of manual and automation testing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Knowledge of writing test cases and test scenarios.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing.
- Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document bugs.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn new testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc Computer Science / IT or related qualification.
- Freshers and final-year students with relevant testing knowledge can apply.
- Academic or personal projects involving Appium, Selenium, API testing, or mobile application testing will be an advantage.
