Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day operation and maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.

- Monitor and maintain electrical distribution boards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, lighting, and other electrical equipment.

- Supervise operation and maintenance of air-conditioning and ventilation systems, including AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, pumps, and ventilation equipment.

- Monitor plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, sewage, pumps, tanks, and related equipment.

- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all MEP systems.

- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, checklists, inspection records, and maintenance reports.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, plant rooms, classrooms, laboratories, offices, kitchens, toilets, and other school facilities.

- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies and coordinate corrective actions.

- Supervise technicians, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and external contractors.

- Ensure contractors perform work according to approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and school procedures.

- Monitor energy and water consumption and identify opportunities for energy and resource conservation.

- Coordinate MEP works for school events, examinations, functions, and other activities to ensure uninterrupted services.

- Maintain adequate stock of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables.





- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe access in electrical rooms, pump rooms, HVAC rooms, and other service areas.

- Maintain records of equipment warranties, service contracts, AMC/CMC agreements, and statutory inspections.

- Coordinate with the school administration and other departments regarding maintenance requirements and complaints.

- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, fire-safety, occupational-safety, and building maintenance requirements.

- Support emergency preparedness, including power failure, water leakage, HVAC failure, and other MEP-related emergencies.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.

- Relevant experience in MEP maintenance, facilities management, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, schools, or similar facilities.

- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and basic building-management systems.

- Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.

- Ability to read basic MEP drawings and technical documents.

- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and maintenance reporting systems.

Desired Experience

- 3–5 years of relevant MEP/facilities maintenance experience is preferred.

- Experience working in a school, College will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
