Role & responsibilities

- Lead and strengthen the complete Quality Assurance function and drive a robust quality culture across the organization.

- Establish, implement and continuously improve Integrated Management Systems (IMS) covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

- Drive QMS/IMS implementation, system documentation, process compliance and continual improvement.

- Lead Internal Audits, External Audits, Certification Audits and Management Review Meetings (MRM).

- Handle Management Representative (MR) responsibilities for applicable management systems and coordinate with certification bodies, customers and other external stakeholders.

- Lead Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) and Final Quality Assurance (FQA).

- Lead customer quality activities including customer complaints, customer inspections, customer audits and corrective actions.

- Drive supplier audits, supplier development and supplier quality improvement initiatives.

- Strengthen CAPA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), risk-based quality systems and quality improvement processes.

- Drive reduction in internal rejection, rework and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

- Work closely with Production, PPC, Design & Development, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, Projects and Senior Management.

- Develop and mentor the Quality team and establish effective quality KPIs and performance monitoring.

- Drive quality system, certification,



compliance and business improvement initiatives as required by the Management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Production or Industrial Engineering. Master's qualification will be an added advantage.

- 15+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management and/or Integrated Management Systems within an engineering/manufacturing organization.

- Minimum 5 years of experience independently leading a Quality function in a managerial capacity.

- Strong hands-on experience in QMS / IMS implementation, system development and continual improvement.

- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

- Experience in Management Representative (MR) responsibilities, Management Review Meetings, Internal Audits, External Audits and Certification Audits.

- Hands-on experience in Quality System Implementation, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions.

- Experience in Electrical, Electronics, Fabrication and Assembly manufacturing processes is mandatory.

- Experience in Railway Signalling, Electrical & Electronic Equipment, Control Panels, Power Supply Systems, Transformers, Battery Chargers or similar engineering manufacturing industries will be preferred.

- Strong experience in Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, Incoming Quality, In-Process Quality and Final Quality Assurance.

- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.

- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
