Role Purpose

Drive Manufacturing Excellence, Lean Transformation and Process Engineering across the plant to improve productivity, OEE, quality, cost, capacity and delivery through continuous improvement, process optimization, problem-solving and shop-floor excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Standard Work, Visual Management, TPM and waste elimination.
- Optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, cycle times, manpower, machine utilization and line balancing through time/motion studies and capacity analysis.
- Drive improvement in OEE, productivity, throughput, yield, cycle time, capacity utilization and manufacturing cost by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and process losses.
- Lead structured problem-solving using RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, PDCA and 8D to reduce rejection, rework, scrap, downtime and process variation.
- Identify and execute cost-reduction, capacity enhancement and productivity projects, including manpower optimization, material utilization, process alternatives and automation opportunities.
- Support New Product Introduction, process development, industrialization and capacity expansion,



ensuring robust and scalable manufacturing processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, poka-yoke, Industry 4.0, digital production monitoring and data-driven manufacturing; support implementation with Engineering/IT teams.
- Establish and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, Standard Work, process parameters and controls; ensure successful improvements are standardized and replicated across lines/products.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, SCM, Engineering and R&D; to resolve constraints and improve end-to-end plant performance.
- Build a culture of employee-driven improvement through Kaizen, training, performance reviews and Lean capability development.

Candidate Profile

- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Operations Excellence.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, VSM, Kaizen, line balancing, productivity improvement and structured problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, layouts and shop-floor systems.
- Data-driven, analytical and hands-on in implementing improvements on the shop floor.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional improvement and cost-reduction projects.
- Good working knowledge of ERP/MES, Excel and manufacturing performance dashboards.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred.
