We are looking for an experienced Manager - Engineering & R&D; to lead product development, engineering design, and innovation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for driving new product development, value engineering, process improvements, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engineering & R&D; activities including product design, development, and validation.
- Drive innovation, cost optimization, and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams for successful product launches.
- Manage engineering documentation, technical specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Closely work with and manage technical interactions with Japanese OEMs for product development, localization,
and customer requirements.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams while ensuring project timelines and objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or related Engineering discipline.
- 8-15 years of experience in Engineering, Product Development, or R&D.;
- Solid project management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in handling or closely working with Japanese OEM customers is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
