We are looking for a skilled and responsible Technician to handle electrical, solar and site-related technical activities. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, fault identification, customer coordination and ensuring smooth operation of electrical and solar systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Load Extension
- Carry out load extension-related electrical work as per site requirements.
- Coordinate with the concerned team for load enhancement activities.
- Ensure proper electrical connections, safety and compliance during the work.
- DG Synchronisation
- Perform and assist in DG (Diesel Generator) Synchronisation with the electrical system.
- Check electrical parameters and ensure proper synchronisation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to DG synchronisation.
- Net Meter and Generation Meter Installation
- Install and commission Net Meters and Generation Meters as per project requirements.
- Ensure proper wiring, connections and meter configuration.
- Coordinate with the concerned electricity distribution authority/team whenever required.
- Verify meter functioning and record relevant readings and details.
- Fault / Defect Identification & Solving
- Measure, identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and defects.
- Use appropriate testing equipment and tools for fault diagnosis.
- Rectify technical issues and ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance whenever required.
- Handling Customer Queries
- Handle customer technical queries professionally.
- Understand customer complaints and provide appropriate technical support.
- Coordinate with the internal technical/operations team for issue resolution.
- Maintain good communication and customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance and servicing of electrical/solar equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical requirements.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain proper records of site work, faults, repairs and maintenance.
- Use electrical tools and testing instruments safely and correctly.
- Travel to customer/project sites as required.
- Coordinate with Engineers, Supervisors, Operations and other departments.
- Complete assigned work within the given timeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related technical qualification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, solar systems and electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project/customer sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
