About ZETO

ZETO is an electric mobility company providing EV scooters on rental to gig delivery partners and other users. We are looking for a skilled and responsible EV Scooter Technician to handle preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, breakdown support, and preparation of scooters for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of electric scooters.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in EV scooters.
- Troubleshoot motor, controller, wiring harness, throttle, brakes, suspension, lights, display, switches, and other components.
- Inspect battery connections, connectors, charging systems, and battery-related issues.
- Diagnose basic IoT/GPS device connectivity and wiring issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the company's service schedule.
- Attend on-road breakdowns and provide quick technical support to riders.
- Prepare repaired scooters for Ready for Allocation (RFA) status.
- Conduct pre-allocation inspections to ensure scooters are protected and roadworthy.
- Replace damaged or defective spare parts as required.
- Maintain proper records of service jobs, repairs, spare parts, and vehicle history.
- Update vehicle maintenance status in the company's system/dashboard.
- Coordinate with the Hub Manager and Operations Team for priority repairs.




- Monitor frequently occurring faults and report recurring technical issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and workshop cleanliness.
- Follow EV and battery safety procedures while performing maintenance and repairs.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years in two-wheeler/EV servicing preferred.
- Experience with electric scooters or electric two-wheelers will be an advantage.
- Understanding of basic electrical systems and ability to use diagnostic tools/multimeter.
- Knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical repairs, brakes, tyres, suspension, and electrical wiring.
- Ability to identify faults quickly and independently perform routine repairs.
- Willingness to provide field/on-road service when required.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
