Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Maintenance Manager with 5+ years of experience in the hospitality sector to manage maintenance and engineering operations across the assigned property/outlets.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, kitchen equipment, and other facility-related systems while minimizing downtime and controlling maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations across the assigned hotel/restaurant/outlet.
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment are maintained in proper working condition.
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for equipment and facilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns and maintenance complaints.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with outlet/restaurant managers and operations teams for maintenance requirements.
- Manage AMC contracts and coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance, service quality, quotations, and maintenance costs.
- Maintain records of equipment, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, AMC, and service history.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies for electrical, fire safety, lift, HVAC, DG, STP, water systems, and other required inspections/certifications.




- Monitor energy and utility consumption and identify opportunities for cost and energy savings.
- Ensure proper maintenance of DG sets, electrical panels, UPS, HVAC systems, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, pumps, plumbing, and other critical assets.
- Ensure emergency breakdowns are attended to promptly to minimize operational disruption.
- Maintain adequate inventory of essential engineering spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Monitor maintenance budgets and control unnecessary repair and replacement costs.
- Coordinate with contractors during renovation, repair, installation, and project-related work.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out with minimum disruption to guests and business operations.
- Lead, supervise, and train maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure proper housekeeping of engineering areas.
- Prepare periodic maintenance reports and update management on major breakdowns, pending issues, and operational risks.
- Support new outlet/property openings by coordinating engineering setup, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, cafs, or multi-outlet F&B; operations.
- Experience managing maintenance operations for multiple outlets/properties will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience in electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and facility maintenance will be preferred.
