As Maintenance Head , you will lead the maintenance strategy across all plants manufacturing machined components, You will ensure maximum uptime of critical machining assets and build a culture of Total preventive and Productive Maintenance throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the corporate maintenance function and set maintenance strategy, standards and policies across all plants.
Oversee maintenance of VMCs, CNC lathes and grinding machines, ensuring high equipment availability and reliability.
Drive TPM implementation across plants, including Autonomous
Maintenance (Jishu Hozen), Planned Maintenance and related pillars.
Build and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance systems to reduce breakdowns and improve MTBF/MTTR.
Track and improve OEE, maintenance cost and spares management across locations.
Guide plant maintenance teams, develop their technical capability, and standardize best practices.
Plan maintenance budgets, capex for machine upgrades and new equipment, and manage vendor/OEM relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety, energy and statutory requirements related to plant and machinery.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 17 years of experience in machine maintenance within automotive component or precision machining manufacturing.
Robust hands-on and managerial expertise in maintenance of VMCs, CNC lathes and grinding machines.
Proven track record in TPM implementation and Autonomous Maintenance.
Experience leading maintenance across multiple plants or at a corporate level preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
Preferred Background
Candidates from leading automotive component, defence component maufacturing and precision machining companies will be preferred.
