Role & responsibilities
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize machine downtime.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Identify recurring breakdowns and implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operations.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports and spare-parts requirements.
- Ensure proper functioning of motors, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, control panels and industrial machinery.
- Support installation, commissioning and modification of machines/equipment.
- Follow plant safety, quality and maintenance standards.
