Job Overview- V2 Retail Limited is seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to safeguard inventory, assets, and operations at its Bangalore Distribution Centre. The role holder will be responsible for designing and enforcing loss prevention protocols, managing physical security, investigating shrinkage and pilferage incidents, and building a culture of accountability and compliance across warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and enforce loss prevention policies and SOPs covering inward/outward material movement, employee access, and vehicle checks at the DC.
- Lead physical security operations including CCTV surveillance, security guard deployment, access control, and perameter security for the facility.
- Monitor and investigate incidents of shrinkage, pilferage, and inventory discrepancies; conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct surprise audits and spot checks on inward/outward gate processes, employee bags/vehicles,



and high-value merchandise storage areas.
- Track and report key loss prevention KPIs shrinkage percentage, incident counts, recovery rates, and audit compliance scores.
- Coordinate with local police and law enforcement authorities for incident reporting, investigations, and legal follow-up where required.
- Build and train a loss prevention/security team, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and ethical conduct.
- Partner with Quality, Logistics, and Inventory teams to identify process gaps that contribute to loss and recommend systemic fixes.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, emergency evacuation, and workplace security protocols in coordination with the Administration team.
- Prepare and present monthly loss prevention reports and incident summaries to DC and senior management.

Key Skills & Requirements

- 4-5 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or asset protection, preferably in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control) and investigative techniques.
- Experience conducting shrinkage audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of relevant legal and law enforcement liaison procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing security/loss prevention teams on the ground.
- High integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive investigations professionally.
- Positive documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
