Role

- This job is an engineering subject matter expert in the Software Engineering area, influencing stakeholders and applying advanced knowledge to drive achievement of area goals and initiatives by contributing to solution development and improvements for existing products, services, and/or processes.
- Develops and maintains high-quality, scalable software solutions, ensuring security and operational resilience.
- Performs thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to uphold quality standards.
- Designs, develops, and delivers complex software solutions aligned with business needs and organizational standards.
- Creates detailed technical artifacts, including requirements documents, design specifications, test plans, and deployment strategies.
- Performs system maintenance, incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution in complex production environments.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and frameworks, conducting Proof of Concept (PoCs) evaluations.
- Maintains solution and technology roadmaps, contributing to strategic planning and innovation while promoting best practices in SDLC, testing, and security.
- Guides and mentors junior team members through on-the-job experiences, reviewing work and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to grow expertise around their discipline.

All about you





- Deep understanding and significant experience of Java 17, Angular 21, and Spring Boot 3+
- Deep understand ETL processes, document databases, data models, object/entity relationship, and relational databases
- Expert at building and managing REST APIs
- Experience of Cloud Native Development targeting a major Cloud Provider
- Experience of modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React
- Experience crafting single page applications (SPAs) as well as distributed systems using Java 17, Spring Boot 3.2 or later
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing frameworks, and quality-focused engineering practices.
- Solid Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration & Delivery principles with an eye for automation and IaC
- Experience building distributed data platforms with high availability concerns and are easily horizontally scaled.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools, APIs, and frameworks to build intelligent application features and improve software development efficiency.
- Not afraid to speak your mind about software design and on the flip side handle any criticism of your ideas with grace
- Stay up-to-date with current web technologies on the front-end and server-side through self-study, blogs, meetups, conferences, etc.
