nRole Purpose

nThe Lead India Injectable Manufacturing IT Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for IT systems supporting India's Injectable manufacturing operations. The role will ensure reliable, compliant, secure, and effective operation of manufacturing IT and OT systems while driving digital transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.

nKey Responsibilities

nManufacturing IT Operations Leadership

n

- Lead and govern IT operations across Injectable manufacturing facilities in India.
n
- Ensure high availability and reliability of manufacturing critical systems.
n
- Drive operational excellence through standardized support processes and service management practices.
n
- Provide strategic direction for manufacturing technology investments and roadmaps.
n

nManufacturing Systems & Infrastructure

n

n
- Manage and support manufacturing applications including MES, SCADA, Historian, Serialization, Environmental Monitoring, BMS,



and shop-floor systems.
n
- Oversee manufacturing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and OT environments.
n
- Ensure seamless integration between manufacturing, quality, and enterprise systems.
n

nCompliance & Quality

n

n
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11and Data Integrity requirements.
n
- Oversee Computerized System Validation (CSV) lifecycle activities.
n
- Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and internal audits.
n
- Drive effective change control, deviation management, CAPA, and inspection readiness programs.
n

nCybersecurity & Risk Management

n

n
- Implement and maintain OT and manufacturing cybersecurity controls.
n
- Manage disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation initiatives.
n
- Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and policies.
n

nBusiness Partnership & Digital Transformation

n

n
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to deliver technology-enabled business solutions.
n

n

nPeople & Vendor Leadership

n

n
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing Manufacturing IT teams.
n
- Manage strategic technology vendors and service providers.
n
- Drive performance, accountability, and continuous learning within the organization.
n

nQualification and Experience

n

n
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline.
n
- 15-17 years of overall IT experience.
n
- Significant experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site IT Operations.
n
- Hands-on experience supporting Injectable/Sterile manufacturing environments.
n
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, data integrity, and compliance requirements.
n
- Experience managing regulatory inspections and audits.
n
