Laptop Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

As a Laptop Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

- Diagnosis and Repair: Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software issues for various brands of laptops, notebooks, and ultrabooks.
- Component Level Repair: Executing advanced repairs, including chip-level troubleshooting and component replacement on motherboards (e.g., BGA rework, replacing ICs, capacitors, etc.).
- System Setup: Installing, configuring, and updating operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.), drivers, and essential software applications.
- Data Management: Performing data backup, recovery, and migration services for clients.
- Quality Assurance: Conducting rigorous testing after repair to ensure all functionalities are restored and the laptop meets performance standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of parts used, repairs performed, and managing spare parts inventory.
- Customer Interaction: Providing clear, professional, and friendly communication with customers regarding repair status, technical advice, and service costs.
- Field Service (as needed): Traveling to client locations within the Noida area to provide on-site technical support.





Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Proven work experience ([Insert Desired Years, e.g., 2+ years]) as a Laptop Service Technician/Engineer or a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of laptop architecture and components.
- Expertise in motherboard troubleshooting and component-level repair.
- Familiarity with various diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Proficient in OS installation, system recovery, and virus removal.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Customer-centric attitude and high attention to detail.
