DevOps Engineer - Algorithmic Trading

Kivi Capital is a dynamic and rapid-paced organization operating in the algorithmic trading domain. We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer who can quickly understand new concepts and take ownership of backend infrastructure.

The role will play an important part in maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure to support live trading operations across Indian and global markets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust monitoring and metrics infrastructure to support algorithmic trading systems.
- Provide hands-on technical support for live trading environments running on Linux servers.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application, infrastructure, and business-related issues.
- Manage databases and execute SQL queries for operational and on-demand analytics.
- Handle application installations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support network management and troubleshoot network-related problems to ensure stable trading operations.
- Manage Python-based infrastructure, including Airflow, logs, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Develop and maintain Airflow DAGs using Python and optimize existing workflows.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure using Ansible, Docker, and automation technologies.
- Implement proactive monitoring to identify potential issues before they impact trading operations.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to provide operational support across projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and operational workflows.
- Ensure infrastructure and operational processes adhere to applicable exchange rules and regulatory requirements.
- Support global market trading operations, including night-shift trading activities when required.

Requirements :

Experience &

Education :





- 2 - 4 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Experience in a trading or financial technology environment is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with NSE and other global financial markets is required.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Linux.
- Good working knowledge of Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for frequent testing and deployment.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, and network environments.

Good to Have :

- Strong Python programming experience.
- Experience with Apache Airflow.
- NISM certification.
- Previous experience supporting live trading or low-latency environments.
