Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior KNIME Developer to lead enterprise-wide data migration strategy for our key client engagements. In this role, you will be the primary designer responsible for transitioning legacy data pipelines, ETL workflows, and analytic models from Alteryx to the KNIME Analytics Platform. You will bridge the gap between business logic and open-source data engineering, ensuring zero downtime and optimized performance

Key Responsibilities

- Workflow Migration:Reverse-engineer complex Alteryx workflows and rebuild them into optimized, scalable KNIME workflows.

- Architecture &
- Optimization:Design reusable KNIME components, metanodes, and sub-workflows to standardize data processes across the organization.

- Performance Tuning:Optimize KNIME execution speeds for massive enterprise datasets using memory management, streaming, and in-database processing (SQL).

- Integration &

- Extension:Inject Python or R scripts into KNIME workflows when native nodes require customization or advanced statistical modeling.

- Deployment &

- Automation:Deploy, schedule, and manage workflows on KNIME Business Hub / Server,



ensuring robust error handling and logging.

- Governance &

- Documentation:Create detailed mapping documentation between Alteryx and KNIME logic, and establish data governance best practices.

- Upskilling Teams:Act as a mentor to business analysts making the switch from Alteryx, providing training and technical support.

Required Skills &

Qualifications - 10+ overall years of data experience

- KNIME Expertise:3+ years of advanced experience building, debugging, and deploying enterprise-grade workflows in KNIME Analytics Platform.

- Alteryx Experience:Solid understanding of Alteryx Designer (Macros, Analytic Apps, In-DB tools) to accurately audit and translate legacy logic.

- Data Engineering:Robust SQL skills for writing complex queries, data blending, and managing relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, PostgreSQL).

- Coding Proficiency:Ability to write clean Python or R code to extend KNIME’s native capabilities.

- API Integration:Experience connecting workflows to REST/SOAP APIs and handling JSON/XML data
