Role Description The Junior Account Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, supporting the preparation and review of financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers and documentation.

The Junior Account

Officer helps monitor accounts payable and receivable, assists with bank reconciliations, and supports monthly and annual closing activities. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders,



responding to basic customer and vendor queries related to accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance staff to support reporting, audits, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to understand and work with Financial Statements.
- Analytical Skills to review data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel or similar tools.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate with colleagues, and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
