About the Role

We are looking for a Job Inspector with 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to perform inspection and quality checks of components during various stages of production.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of measuring instruments, engineering drawings, dimensional inspection, and shop-floor quality procedures. Experience in sheet metal, press components, fabrication, machining, or similar engineering manufacturing will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products as per specifications.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of manufactured components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Use various measuring and inspection equipment for accurate dimensional checking.
- Identify defects, dimensional deviations, and quality issues during production.
- Coordinate with production/shop-floor teams regarding inspection findings and corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality records.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspection as required.
- Ensure components are manufactured as per required drawings and quality standards.
- Support reduction of rejection, rework, and quality-related issues.




- Maintain proper handling and care of measuring instruments.
- Ensure proper identification and segregation of rejected/non-conforming components.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety practices, and shop-floor discipline.

Measuring Equipment Knowledge Hands-on knowledge of the following measuring and inspection instruments is preferred:

- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Depth Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Gauge
- Bevel Protractor
- Feeler Gauge
- Plug Gauge / Ring Gauge
- Steel Scale
- Other relevant inspection gauges and measuring equipment

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of dimensional inspection and quality checking.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of limits, fits, and tolerances.
- Practical knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Valuable observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify defects and dimensional variations.
- Basic knowledge of inspection documentation and quality records.
- Good coordination with production and shop-floor teams.

Ideal Candidate A hands-on Job Inspector who can perform dimensional and visual inspection, use measuring instruments effectively, understand engineering drawings and tolerances, and coordinate with the production team to maintain component quality. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
