Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Full stack Developer at Healthfirst Technologies in Hyderabad. The Java Developer will be responsible for software development, working with microservices, programming, and utilizing the Spring Framework to design and implement Java-based solutions.

Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
- Advanced usage of Criteria API, joins, predicates, projections, and dynamic query construction
- Strong experience with React.js or Angular
- Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3




- Experience with responsive web development and frontend API integration.
- Deep understanding of EntityManager lifecycle, persistence context, and nested query handling
- Proficient in PostgreSQL: writing CTEs, batch updates, procedural loops, performance tuning
- Strong SQL and PL/pgSQL skills with batch-safe designs
- Good understanding of REST APIs, status codes, and HTTP method logging
- Familiarity with AWS Lambdas, EC2, S3
- Advanced usage of Streams API Nice to Have
- Experience with FHIR data models or healthcare data systems
- Familiarity with CloudWatch logs, AWS services, or log sanitization
- Exposure to tools like Postman

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and JPA.
- Handle nested Criteria queries, subqueries, dynamic joins, and conditional projections in JPA/Hibernate.
- Write productive batch-processing scripts using PL/pgSQL with LIMIT, LOOP, WITH, and RETURNING.
- Create secure and performant rollback/commit flows using programmatic or declarative transaction management.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and frontend teams for full-lifecycle support of API services
