:Role: Java Developer with Production Support - L3

Location: BangaloreExperience: 5 - 6 Years

Role Overview: We are looking for aJava Production Support with strong knowledge in Java and experience in application support activities. The candidate should be capable of handling incidents, monitoring alerts, and supporting business-critical applications in production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide production support for Java-based applications and ensure application stability.
- Handle incident management activities including issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Monitor application health, alerts, and system performance, and take necessary actions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth collaboration and effective issue handling.
- Communicate solutions clearly and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Technical SkillsJava:

- Strong knowledge in Core Java concepts including OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Design Patterns.
- Positive coding ability with strong problem-solving skills and focus on code quality.
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Java-based production applications.
- Knowledge of incident management, root cause analysis, bug fixing, and application monitoring in production support environments.

SQL:





- Strong knowledge in writing SQL queries using SELECT, JOIN, and GROUP BY.
- Basic understanding of SQL performance optimization including indexes and query tuning.
- Experience in analyzing production issues using SQL queries and database troubleshooting.

Unix/Linux:

- Knowledge in Unix/Linux basics including commands like ls, grep, find, chmod.
- Exposure to shell scripting, process management, and permissions handling.
- Experience in monitoring logs, handling batch jobs, and supporting Unix-based production environments.

Production Support:

- Hands-on experience in application production support and maintenance activities.
- Ability to handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within SLA timelines.
- Experience in application monitoring, alert handling, issue resolution, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools like JIRA/ServiceNow and support processes.

Behavioral Skills:

- Ability to explain solutions clearly.
- Good team collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in monitoring and alert handling tools.
- Experience in application support environment and incident handling process.
