THE ROLE
We are looking for a strong, self-driven IT Manager to independently own CKPCs end-to-end IT infrastructure, from CKPC House, our headquarters in Sadashivanagar, to our project sites and sales offices. You will be the single point of accountability for keeping our people connected, our systems secure and our data protected. You will set the direction, make the decisions, and work hands-on to deliver them with the support of trusted vendors and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure & Operations
Design, deploy and maintain servers, storage, virtualization and backup systems across CKPC House and all project locations.
Manage cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure / AWS / Google Cloud) and SaaS applications, including provisioning, governance and cost optimisation.
Ensure high availability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, patching and performance tuning.
Network & Connectivity
Own LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN and ISP links, with redundancy for business-critical connectivity.
Set up and manage IT at new project site offices, sales galleries and experience centres, from planning through go-live and closure.
Oversee IP-based systems such as CCTV, access control, video conferencing and meeting-room technology.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Define and enforce IT security policies covering endpoint protection, identity and access management, MFA and email security.
Lead vulnerability assessments, security audits and incident response.
Ensure compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and protect customer, investor and employee data.
Business Applications & End-User Support
Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, and support ERP, CRM, finance and project-management platforms in partnership with application vendors.
Run the IT helpdesk to defined SLAs, providing responsive support for leadership, corporate and site teams.
Manage the complete IT asset lifecycle: procurement, configuration, onboarding and offboarding, tracking and disposal.
Business Continuity
Own backup, disaster recovery and business continuity plans, with regular restore tests and documented RTO/RPO.
Vendors, Budget & Governance
Select and manage IT vendors, AMCs, licences and service contracts, holding partners to SLAs.
Prepare and manage the annual IT budget (CapEx and OpEx), with regular reporting on spend and savings.
Build IT policies, SOPs and documentation, and present an IT roadmap aligned with CKPCs growth plans to leadership.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must have
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent).
1015 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including independently managing the complete IT environment of an organisation.
Strong hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, networking (Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos or similar) and virtualisation.
Practical experience with cloud platforms and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration.
Proven track record in IT security, backup and disaster recovery, and audit readiness.
Experience in vendor negotiation, budgeting and IT procurement.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise senior leadership.
Good to have
Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure or multi-site organisations.
Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure or AWS, ITIL, CISSP/CISM or CEH.
Exposure to smart-building technologies, IoT, building management systems or ISO 27001 implementation.
