IT Executive Hardware & Software

Location: D Y Patil School of Medicine, Ambi, Talegaon Dabhade, Pune

:

- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, biometric devices and other IT hardware.
- Provide day-to-day hardware and software support to faculty, administrative staff, students and departments.
- Install, configure and maintain Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus, browsers, drivers and other institutional software.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity and basic network-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, software installation, system updates, backups and basic data-security requirements.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, AMC records and hardware maintenance records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, software issues, AMC and warranty-related services.
- Support smart classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, library systems and other technology-enabled academic facilities.




- Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain proper IT service and complaint records.
- Assist in implementing IT policies, cybersecurity practices, data backup procedures and access controls.
- Provide technical support during examinations, presentations, seminars, conferences and academic activities.
- Monitor system performance and recommend replacement/upgradation of obsolete hardware and software.
- Ensure IT systems remain operational and support the smooth functioning of the medical college.

Eligibility: Graduate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field, with 13 years of experience in hardware and software support. Freshers with solid technical knowledge may also be considered.
