Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage and monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, coordinate with Stores, Production, Purchase, QC, and Dispatch teams, and ensure proper inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packing materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, and other inventory.
- Conduct regular physical stock tallying and reconciliation against system records and identify/report discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory records in ERP/software and MS Excel.
- Monitor daily stock movement, including receipts, issues, transfers, production consumption, and dispatches.
- Have good knowledge of unit conversions such as Kg, MT, Litres, KL, Nos., etc., and accurately maintain inventory across different units of measurement.
- Maintain and monitor WIP stock at different stages of the manufacturing process and reconcile production quantities with inventory records.
- Understand basic manufacturing processes, material consumption, batch-wise production, yield, and conversion of raw materials into finished goods.
- Track batch numbers, quantities, production lots, and material movement.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports, inventory statements, and reconciliation reports.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and identify shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with the Storekeeper for material receipt, storage, issue, and stock updates.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Production teams for material availability and requirements.
- Coordinate with QC and Dispatch teams to ensure accurate inventory movement and availability of finished goods for dispatch.
- Monitor and coordinate dispatch activities, including stock allocation, dispatch documentation, transporter coordination, and updating inventory after dispatch.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and report them to the concerned department.
- Ensure proper storage and inventory control of chemicals and other materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation for internal, customer, and statutory audits.
- Follow company SOPs, safety procedures, and inventory control policies.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Solid working knowledge ofMS Excel.
- Experience with ERP/inventory management software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of chemical/manufacturing inventory will be preferred.
Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in any relevant field.
- Candidates with experience in chemical or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Freshers with good Excel knowledge and strong willingness to learn may also be considered.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
