Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Outsourcing Manager – International Accounting to oversee our growing portfolio of international clients, with a focus on cross-border financial management, client engagement, and operational oversight.

In this role, you will lead a team of accountants, manage client relationships across international jurisdictions, and ensure strict compliance with local and international financial regulations. You must possess hands-on expertise in Xero and Greek Accounting Software (such as SoftOne, Entersoft, or Epsilon Net), alongside a deep understanding of the Greek tax authority digital ecosystem (AADE / myDATA platform) and general international reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Portfolio Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, managing SLAs, scope of work, monthly deliverables, and client queries.
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding, establishing workflow rules, communication channels, and accounting protocols for new accounts.
- Ensure timely delivery of periodic management accounts, cash flow statements, and financial analysis to international stakeholders.

Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting
- Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, monthly close, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation under relevant standards (e.g., IFRS, Greek Accounting Standards / ELP).
- Leverage Xero for automated workflow management, multi-currency accounting, cloud reporting,



and app ecosystem integrations.
- Direct operations involving Greek accounting software (SoftOne, Entersoft, Epsilon Net, Pylon, etc.), ensuring proper chart of accounts structuring, statutory register maintenance, and electronic invoicing.
- Ensure seamless data transmission and reconciliation with the AADE myDATA digital platform for Greek entities.

Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Manage cross-border compliance, including VAT returns, VIES filings, EC Sales lists, and local tax submissions in applicable jurisdictions.
- Conduct regular quality checks and internal audits on payroll, tax computations, and statutory reporting before submission.
- Stay updated on international tax treaties, transfer pricing basic principles, and local statutory amendments affecting client portfolios.

Team Leadership & Process Optimization
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of senior and junior accountants, ensuring balanced workload distribution and professional growth.
- Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal control mechanisms to improve delivery accuracy and turnaround times.
- Automate manual processes by integrating third-party tools (OCR, expense management, payroll engines) into Xero and Greek ERP solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience:



Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in international accounting outsourcing, shared services, or a BPO/professional services firm environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Qualified Certifications: ACCA, CPA, CA, or Greek Certified Public Accountant (SOL) qualification is highly preferred.

- Software Mastery:
- Xero: Expert-level capability in cloud accounting, multi-currency processing, and third-party app integrations.
- Greek Accounting Software: Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in systems like SoftOne, Epsilon Net (Pylon/Epsilon Smart), Entersoft, or similar Greek ERP platforms.
- Tax Portals: In-depth working knowledge of the AADE myDATA platform and local tax e-filing interfaces.
- Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Greek Accounting Standards (ELP).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills (Greek language fluency is a strong plus depending on client focus).
