Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant
About The Space is a boutique interior design studio based in Ahmedabad, working across residential and commercial projects.
We’re looking for a Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant to join our growing studio and work closely with the founder across ongoing projects.
What you’ll be doing
Developing and editing AutoCAD drawings
Working on SketchUp / 3D models
Preparing BOQs, material lists and project documentation
Coordinating with vendors and following up on quotations
Assisting with material selections and sourcing
Coordinating with contractors, vendors and site teams
Preparing presentations, moodboards and design documentation
Assisting with day-to-day project coordination
Visiting sites when required
What we’re looking for
1–3 years of experience in interior design / architecture
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
Working knowledge of SketchUp
Good understanding of materials,
furniture and interior detailing
Comfortable working with Excel / BOQs
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and follow-up skills
Someone who is organised, proactive and willing to take ownership
A valuable eye for design and a genuine interest in interiors
