Job Title : R&D; Chemist

Experience : From 3 to 6 years of experience

Industry : Fertilizers / Pesticides / Agrochemicals

Functional Area : Healthcare & Life Sciences

Eligibility Criteria Ideal Candidate from – Agrochemical / Lifesciences / Pharma background

M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry -with 3 -6 Yrs experience in Research and Development including Process Development and scale-up operations.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Knowledge of multi-step chemical synthesis via oxidation, reduction, esterification, hydrogenation, acylation, halogenations,alkylation, bromination, and chlorination
- Must have Performed synthetic chemistry reaction and reaction workup, Impurity synthesis.
- Must have knowledge of Purification of organic compounds through techniques such as crystallization, fractional column distillation, decolorization, column chromatography, etc
- Transfer of technology Process from R&D; labto kilo lab and Pilot Scale. Monitoring of Pilot Trials.




- Responsible in process development by synthesizing small to large scale quantities of compounds to support the needs of discovery scientists and working with process chemistry in solving challenges associated with the chemistry.
- Focus on improving the optimum process and technology to synthesize the promising compounds and on making the compounds efficiently, cost-effectively, and in the safest manner.
- Major focus on cheap, environmentally benign, and readily available starting materials, reagents, and catalysts.
- Familiar in using the modern synthetic organic methodology, chromatographic techniques, and High Vacuum Distillation to purify the desired product.
- Proficient with recrystallization technique to isolate high pure products.
- A literature search of current product& find the new method of manufacturing
