Working Pattern

ROSSY Ice Creams operates the following shift patterns:

Shift 1: 10:30 AM – 06:30 PM

Shift 2: 06:30 PM – 01:00 AM

Candidates can indicate their preferred shift when applying. Shift allocation will depend on availability and operational requirements.

Full-time and suitable part-time candidates may be considered. The role may also suit college students looking for part-time employment, provided they meet the required driving, attendance and shift requirements.

About the Role

ROSSY Ice Creams is looking for energetic, confident and sales-focused Ice Cream Van / Auto Operatives to operate our customised mobile ice cream vehicles across major areas of the city.

This is a field-based mobile sales role involving regular driving, customer interaction, stock handling and direct sales.

The successful candidate will operate a customised small-sized three-wheeler ice cream vehicle and travel between designated sales locations throughout the assigned shift.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy meeting customers, travelling around the city and actively generating sales.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

- Safely driving a customised small-sized three-wheeler ice cream van/auto.
- Travelling between designated sales locations across major areas of the city.
- Regularly moving the vehicle according to assigned routes, customer demand and sales opportunities.
- Selling ROSSY ice creams and related products directly to customers.
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Explaining available flavours, products, offers and promotions.
- Promoting products and encouraging additional sales where appropriate.
- Working towards daily and weekly sales targets.
- Handling cash, UPI and other approved payment methods responsibly.
- Maintaining accurate records of daily sales and collections.
- Taking responsibility for stock issued during the shift.
- Loading required products before commencing the route.
- Monitoring stock levels throughout the shift.
- Returning remaining stock and completing end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the ice cream vehicle.
- Checking that the freezer and related equipment are functioning correctly.
- Maintaining required product-storage temperatures.
- Following food-hygiene and safe product-handling procedures.
- Following assigned routes and operational instructions.
- Reporting vehicle, freezer, stock or operational issues promptly.
- Maintaining professional behaviour while representing the ROSSY brand.

5% Sales Commission ROSSY Ice Creams offers a performance-based earning opportunity in addition to the applicable fixed salary or wages.

Operatives will receive a 5% commission on each eligible sale made during their shift,



subject to the company's sales-recording and commission policy.

Driving Requirement A valid driving licence suitable for operating the assigned two-wheeler/three-wheeler vehicle is mandatory.

Candidates must

- Be confident driving a three-wheeler.
- Be comfortable operating a customised small-sized ice cream auto/van.
- Be comfortable with regular driving throughout the shift.
- Have good road awareness.
- Be confident navigating major areas of the city.
- Be able to safely park and position the vehicle at sales locations.
- Follow applicable road-safety and traffic regulations.
- Carry out basic pre-use vehicle checks.
- Report vehicle defects or safety concerns immediately.

Candidates must be comfortable and confident operating a three-wheeler as regular driving forms an important part of this role. Sales-Focused Position

Field-Based Working

This is not a stationary shop-based role.

The operative will regularly travel across major areas of the city during the assigned shift.

The role involves

- Regular driving.
- Frequent movement between sales locations.
- Serving customers directly from the vehicle.
- Entering and exiting the vehicle regularly.
- Outdoor customer interaction.
- Handling stock.
- Managing payments.
- Operating across different locations depending on the assigned route and customer demand.
- Maintaining the vehicle as a clean and attractive mobile sales outlet.

Shift 1 – 10:30 AM to 06:30 PM Shift 2 – 06:30 PM to 01:00 AM

Duties include regular driving, customer service, sales generation, stock management, payment handling and maintaining the vehicle throughout the shift.
