Job Summary

We are looking for a technically competent and responsible HVAC Service Engineer to handle HVAC installation support, testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and service activities at project and client sites.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation of HVAC systems, timely resolution of breakdowns, customer coordination, and proper maintenance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out installation support, testing, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Attend breakdown calls and identify the root cause of HVAC equipment failures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per approved schedules.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control-related HVAC problems.
- Inspect HVAC equipment and recommend corrective actions.
- Check operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, airflow, water flow, current, voltage, and refrigerant pressure.
- Handle servicing and troubleshooting of:
- VRF / VRV Systems
- Chillers
- AHU & FCU
- Package AC
- Split / Cassette AC
- Fresh Air & Exhaust Systems
- Ventilation Systems
- Pumps and associated HVAC equipment
- Coordinate with technicians and service teams for daily work execution.
- Supervise HVAC repair, replacement, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper use of tools, testing instruments, spare parts, and materials.
- Attend client complaints and ensure timely closure of service calls.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, facility teams, and project teams.
- Prepare service reports, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance reports,



and commissioning documents.
- Maintain equipment history, service records, and spare-parts requirements.
- Identify recurring faults and recommend long-term corrective measures.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to approved specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and safety standards.
- Conduct equipment performance checks after servicing or repair.
- Assist in snag rectification, handover, and warranty-related service activities.
- Monitor technicians and ensure work is completed within the committed timeline.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety at the work location.
- Provide technical support to the client during operation and maintenance activities.

Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding ability.
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical control panels and basic control circuits.
- Knowledge of refrigerant charging, recovery, leak testing, and vacuuming.
- Understanding of HVAC piping, ducting, insulation, and drainage systems.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of HVAC testing and commissioning procedures.
- Basic knowledge of BMS / HVAC controls will be an advantage.
- Ability to use HVAC testing instruments and tools.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.





ITI / Diploma candidates with strong relevant HVAC service experience may also be considered.

Experience

2–6 years of relevant experience in HVAC service, maintenance, testing, commissioning, or project execution.

Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, industrial projects, residential projects, or MEP contracting will be preferred.

- Valid driving licence will be an advantage.

Salary Salary: As per experience, technical knowledge, and company norms.
