Position Overview
Samvedna Development Society is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to manage and support the organization's end-to-end HR functions.
The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll coordination, HR operations, employee documentation, labour law compliance, HR policies, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HR practices, excellent communication and coordination skills, good knowledge of MS Excel, and a practical understanding of payroll processes, statutory compliance, And HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requirement understanding to candidate onboarding.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and project teams to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, employee references, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate further interview rounds.
- Manage interview scheduling, candidate follow-ups, offer discussions, and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely closure of open positions.
Payroll & HR Operations
- Coordinate and support the monthly payroll process.
- Maintain accurate employee attendance, leave, salary, and employee records.
- Coordinate with the finance/payroll team for salary processing and payroll-related queries.
- Handle employee onboarding and exit formalities.
- Maintain employee files, HR documentation, and HR records.
- Support employee queries related to salary, leave, attendance, policies, and HR processes.
Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Maintain good working knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Support compliance related to PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, leave, working hours, and other applicable labour regulations.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation are aligned with applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external consultants for compliance-related matters.
- Maintain necessary compliance records and documentation.
HR Policies & Processes
- Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees are aware of organizational policies and HR guidelines.
- Maintain and update HR documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support implementation of employee-related processes across the organization.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Handle employee queries and provide appropriate HR support.
- Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
- Assist in resolving employee-related concerns in coordination with management.
- Maintain professional and confidential handling of employee information.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
HR MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HR MIS and employee databases.
- Prepare reports related to headcount, recruitment, attrition, attendance, leave, and other HR metrics.
- Maintain recruitment and payroll-related trackers.
- Use MS Excel for HR data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure HR records and reports are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in Human Resources / Human Resource Management.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant HR experience.
- Practical experience in recruitment, HR operations, and payroll coordination.
- Good knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in developing or implementing HR policies and processes.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and HR reporting.
- Experience with HRMS/payroll software will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple HR activities independently.
