Role: Junior Telecom Engineer

Job Location: Thousand Lights, Chennai

Job Responsibilities:

- Support senior engineers in adhering to engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Assist in preparation of equipment specifications, drawings, and technical documents following standard templates.
- Participate in checking processes, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
- Support preparation of design specifications and calculations for Telecom and Security systems.
- Assist with Fiber optic, FTTX,FTTP/FTTH and IP network related activities as applicable.
- Basic technical and practical engineering skills with ability to deliver quality and accurate work under supervision.
- Foundational knowledge in preparing design drawings and documents for Telecom and Network Systems (Optical Transmission, IP Networks, Radio Systems) and Security Systems (CCTV,



Access Control, Public Address General Alarm).
- Basic understanding of Functional Design Specifications, Block Diagrams, General Arrangements, Coverage Studies, and Wiring Diagrams.
- Working knowledge of fundamental requirements of Telecom, Electronics Security, and ELV Systems.
- Exposure to design calculation software packages like CADNA (acoustic analysis) and Pathloss (RF propagation) is desirable.
- Ability to assist in preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Cable Schedules.
- Awareness of regulations, codes, and standards applicable to Telecom and Security System design for oil and gas facilities.
