Job Profile

1. Candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end Supply Chain Management operations, including procurement,purchase of raw material packaging material, Import, planning, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and distribution for the pharmaceutical formulations business.
2. Candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, and ensure uninterrupted product availability.
3. Candidate will be responsible for managing procurement of raw materials, packing materials, and CMO products, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, imports, and advance license activities.
4. Candidate will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory planning, stock replenishment, ABC analysis, and maintaining optimum inventory levels while balancing working capital.
5. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Production, Quality, R&D;, Commercial, and Plant teams to ensure timely manufacturing, product launches, and dispatch of finished products.
6. Candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and ensuring timely delivery while optimizing logistics costs and service levels.
7. Candidate will be responsible for identifying supply chain risks, supplier disruptions, regulatory changes, and implementing business continuity and risk mitigation strategies.

Candidate will be responsible for preparing budgets, MIS reports, supply chain analytics, forecasting, and driving process improvements using Advanced Excel, ERP systems, and AI tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. B. Pharma / B.VSC / M. SC with 15 - 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within a Pharmaceutical Formulations Manufacturing company.
2. He should have a minimum of 3- 5 years of experience leading Supply Chain Management as Head / DGM / GM.
3. He should have experience handling procurement, ,purchase of raw material packaging material, Import, planning, inventory, demand planning, logistics, warehousing, imports, and CMO/vendor management.
4. He should have experience managing supply chain operations for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company with a turnover of 300 Crore or above.
5. He should have an MBA in Operations / Supply Chain Management (preferred) with solid knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain processes.
6. He should have excellent knowledge of Advanced Excel, ERP systems, MIS reporting, supply chain analytics, and AI tools.
7. He should be willing to travel domestically as per business requirements and internationally 12 times a year for exhibitions such as CPHI.
