We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead the end-to-end operations of our Fabric Business. The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution from order confirmation through production, material procurement, quality, dispatch and payment coordination.

The candidate will work closely with the Marketing & Sales team and will be responsible for building a structured, process-driven and scalable operating system across the Fabric Division.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Production Planning & Control (PPC) across multiple weaving units and ensure production is aligned with customer requirements and committed delivery schedules.
- Oversee weaving and textile manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient utilisation of machines, manpower and resources.
- Own TFO planning, yarn planning, material planning and yarn procurement to ensure timely availability of materials without excessive inventory.
- Manage the complete order-to-dispatch cycle, tracking every order from production planning through finished goods and final dispatch.
- Develop and implement effective dispatch scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and minimise delays.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to ensure adherence to required quality standards and resolve customer complaints.
- Monitor inventory levels, yarn consumption, finished goods and material availability and improve inventory efficiency.
- Coordinate with Finance and Sales teams regarding customer outstanding payments, credit-related operational issues and collection follow-ups.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, PPC, Purchase, Production, Quality, Dispatch and Finance to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Establish daily,



weekly and monthly MIS and operational dashboards covering production, inventory, dispatches, quality, receivables and order status.
- Develop SOPs, systems and processes that reduce dependence on promoter/director involvement in day-to-day operations.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, implement corrective actions and continuously improve productivity, delivery performance and working capital efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 10–20 years of experience in textile manufacturing, weaving, fabric manufacturing or a closely related field.
- Strong experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC), TFO Planning, Material Planning and Yarn Procurement.
- Robust understanding of weaving operations and fabric manufacturing.
- Experience managing dispatch planning, inventory, quality and customer/order execution.
- Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes and operational KPIs.
- Experience working with ERP systems and MIS.
- Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving and execution skills.
- Should be capable of independently managing a large and complex operational function.
- Graduate degree required. Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related disciplines preferred. MBA/PGDM is an advantage.
