Industry: FMCG / Spices only

Experience: 1015+ years in FMCG international sales/business development Experience in packaged foods, beverages, or consumer goods is highly valued.

Qualification: MBA / PG in International Business, Sales & Marketing, or Business Administration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage end-to-end Export Operations & International Business for spices and FMCG products.

Develop and maintain strong international buyer relationships and drive business growth across global markets.

Manage pre- & post-shipment export documentation, shipping bills, B/L, L/C, COO, and related compliance.

Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, and logistics partners for smooth export execution.

Ensure compliance with international food regulations, quality standards, and importing-country requirements.

Handle export processes in line with applicable US FDA, EU, and other international regulatory requirements.

Identify and develop new international markets, customers, and business opportunities.





Coordinate with sourcing teams for quality, pricing, availability, and procurement of spices/herbs.

Monitor export shipments, container movement, ETD/ETA, and delivery timelines.

Lead and mentor the Export & Documentation team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

Support participation in international/domestic trade fairs and product showcases.

IDEAL PORTFOLIO

10+ years of relevant experience in FMCG / Spices Export

Strong exposure to International Business & Export Operations

Excellent knowledge of Export Documentation, Logistics, Retail, Distribution models & Compliance

Experience with Spices/Herbs and international food regulations preferred

Solid buyer management, negotiation, cross-cultural and team leadership skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
