Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Performance Analyst to evaluate and optimize the performance of home networking devices such as Wi‑Fi routers, gateways, and CPE products. Closely working with hardware, firmware, and QA teams to ensure our products deliver the best possible speed, stability, and wireless performance.

Required Skills

6-10 yrs exp

Evaluate hardware performance (CPU, memory, Wi‑Fi radios, Ethernet, SoC) through throughput, latency, and stress testing on router/CPE platforms.

Benchmark Wi‑Fi (2.4/5/6 GHz) for RF behavior, roaming, steering, and mesh while identifying bottlenecks and recommending optimizations.

Collaborate with teams/vendors to resolve issues and build automated tests, reports, and dashboards.

Strong understanding of Wi‑Fi standards (802.11n/ac/ax) and RF fundamentals.

Experience with routing, switching, NAT, QoS, and traffic flow analysis.





Hands‑on with performance tools like iPerf3, tcpdump or similar.

Valuable knowledge of embedded systems and SoC architectures.

Ability to analyze system logs, CPU/memory behavior, and throughput metrics.

Experience in Linux stack,openwrt,RDKB preferred.

Mandatory skills*
